Benny started out as a hobbyist in the field of photography. Although he consistently won top honors in his camera club and in national photo contests (such as "Tondo, Yesterday and Today" and "The 1st Dragon Boat Festival"), it wasn't until he bagged the grand prize in the Department of Tourism's "Travel in the Philippines" photo contest that he began contemplating a possible career in photography.

Initially landing hotel accounts, Benny gained valuable experience and training covering events in Manila's most prestigious hotels including The Pen, EDSA Shangri-La and The Westin Philippine Plaza. And in 1997, during the wedding of a friend, Benny made his debut in the wonderful world of wedding photography. Since then, he's never looked back.

Maybe it's his friendly demeanor or the unique mix of pictures he provides or maybe as one client puts it, he has "the eye." But for Benny, it is God that he wants to thank for all his talent and success.

Benny Bondoc became a member of the Zone V Camera Club in 1992 and was hailed the club's Photographer of the Year in 1997 and in 2000. He is also an active member of the WPPP.
